Tab Sejoe - Artist
Artist Bio
Tab Sejoe is a Kyneton based artist, textile designer and workshop facilitator. Her work is rooted in a deep love for the natural world and a desire to bring its wonder into our everyday with print, pattern, texture and colour. From her Aussie bush studio, Tab's creative practice draws on her two worlds: the vast, wild beauty of Botswana where she grew up, and the sun-worn familiarity of her Australian home.
Working exclusively with natural fibres, Tab designs and screenprints linen fabrics by hand, locally printed silk accessories, and creates visual and textile art pieces - all with a considered approach, in palette, in process, and in purpose for longevity of our planet.
Workshops
Passionate about engaging students of all ages, Tab’s creative workshops offer an inclusive, student-focused place for exploring, sharing and expressing our most authentic selves, whilst connecting community through creativity. For Tab sustainability isn't just a footnote, and is also considered in her workshops, where materials used are often recycled, re-used and re-imagined into new work.
Workshops can be catered to school groups, community programs, corporate events, festivals, and fun individual gatherings. Past workshops I designed/co-designed and delivered include:
